This Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a comforting and flavorful dinner recipe that’s quick to make and perfect for any pasta lover.
2 chicken breasts, cut into cubes
250 g (9 oz) pasta of your choice
3 garlic cloves, minced
80 g (¾ cup) grated parmesan cheese
150 ml (⅔ cup) heavy cream
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Cook the Pasta:
Boil the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add chicken cubes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 6–8 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Remove from pan and set aside.
Sauté Garlic:
In the same pan, add a bit more oil if necessary.
Sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute, just until fragrant.
Make the Sauce:
Reduce the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in the grated parmesan until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Combine Everything:
Add the cooked pasta and chicken back to the pan.
Toss well until evenly coated and heated through.
Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and extra parmesan. Serve hot.
Use penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti — all work well in this recipe.
Add a pinch of chili flakes for a little heat.
Substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu for a variation.
Sauce too thick? Add a splash of reserved pasta water.
