Creamy, rich, and ready in minutes — this classic Alfredo spaghetti is the ultimate comfort food with just four simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200 g (7 oz) spaghetti

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • Cook the Spaghetti:
Boil the spaghetti in salted water until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  • Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream and heat gently until it begins to simmer (do not boil).

  • Add the Cheese:
Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and smooth.

  • Combine:
Toss the cooked spaghetti into the sauce and mix well to coat evenly.

  • Serve:
Serve hot with extra Parmesan on top if desired.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce.

  • Add garlic, black pepper, or red pepper flakes for extra flavor.

  • Works great with fettuccine or linguine too.

  • Pair with grilled chicken or steamed broccoli for a complete meal.
